Meet the Team

Dr. Brittany Haggard was born and raised in the Dallas/Marietta area. Her love of animals began at a young age and started her path to becoming a veterinarian at the age of 6. This love lead her to her first job at a local clinic at the age of 14, and from there followed a journey in both large and small animal medicine through college. After graduating from Kennesaw State University, Dr. Brittany applied to international veterinary schools to satisfy a sense of adventure. She was accepted to St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine and enjoyed over three years of travel and global education. For her clinical studies, Dr. Brittany decided to return home to the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia. Go Dawgs! Since graduation, Dr. Brittany has been serving the Dallas community from the same practice for the past 11 years. Her clinical interests include surgery, preventative medicine, and internal medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Brittany enjoys travel, hiking, and cheering on her Georgia Bulldogs!

Becoming a part of the Skye Ridge Veterinary Hospital team has been a blessing for Dr. Brittany. The whole team is excited to welcome you to our little community and are grateful for the opportunity to serve in the Dallas/Acworth area. We are so excited to welcome you to The Ridge!
